Our Why, A Personal Story.
EBLUXE CARES was created from a place of love, faith, and deeply personal experience.
In 2014, my world changed when my father was diagnosed with leukemia. Hearing the word “cancer” shook me to my core. Like so many families, fear came rushing in — fear rooted not only in the present moment, but in childhood memories of loved ones we had lost to this disease. Growing up, I often asked, “How do people get cancer?” and the answer was always, “We don’t know.” Those unanswered questions stayed with me, even as life went on.
When my dad was diagnosed, those emotions all came flooding back. I tried to be strong for him, my family, and my children — but I cried every day. I leaned on my husband and my faith, and still, I felt broken… until one powerful moment changed everything.
My father looked at me and said, “Just because I have cancer doesn’t mean it’s a death sentence.”
That sentence shifted everything. It brought strength. It restored hope. It reminded me that while cancer is real and difficult, there is also resilience, courage, and life to keep living.
That moment became part of the heartbeat of EBLUXE CARES.
We want to be that source of hope, reassurance, and support for others. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, in remission, caregiving, grieving, or seeking knowledge — you matter here. We believe in community. We believe in connection. And we believe that when we walk together, no one has to carry their journey alone.
Who We Are.
EBLUXE CARES is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the health, wellness, and emotional well-being of individuals, families, and communities impacted by cancer. We focus on increasing awareness, promoting prevention and early detection, and helping bridge the gap between healthcare access and knowledge — especially in communities where information and support are harder to reach.
