Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes in sleep, mood, energy, menstrual cycles, body temperature, and emotional wellness, yet many women do not have a safe space to talk about these experiences. This Wellness Wednesday, we want to make room for a conversation many women are not having enough.
These are natural stages of life, but they can sometimes feel confusing, emotional, isolating, and frustrating. Many times, symptoms are brushed off as stress, aging, moodiness, weight gain, or “just life.” But as women, we deserve a space where we can talk honestly about what is happening in our bodies and how it is affecting our daily lives.
Perimenopause can begin years before menopause. During this time, some women may notice changes in their cycle, sleep, mood, energy, body temperature, skin, hair, metabolism, or emotions. Some experience hot flashes, night sweats, anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, heavier or irregular periods, or simply feeling different in their own body.
I have personally noticed changes in my own body that made me realize how little we talk about this stage of life. It made me think about how many women may be experiencing similar things quietly, without knowing where to talk about it.
Why This Conversation Matters
At EBLUXE CARES, we believe women’s wellness includes the conversations that are often left out. We want to create a safe outlet for women to share, listen, ask honest questions, and feel less alone. These type of conversations does not replace medical care but it creates room for connection, honesty, and support.
Women Learning From Women
There is power in women learning from women. Someone who is just beginning to notice changes may benefit from hearing from someone who has already walked through menopause. Not as a medical expert, but as a woman with lived experience, wisdom, and encouragement to share.
This space would welcome women in different stages:
Women beginning to notice changes
Women navigating perimenopause
Women currently in menopause
Women who are post-menopause and willing to share what they wish they had known earlier
Sometimes support sounds like, “That happened to me too.” Sometimes it sounds like, “Here is what helped me ask better questions.” And sometimes it is simply, “You are not alone.”
Topics To Be Talked About
Perimenopause and menopause can affect many parts of daily life, including:
Mood changes, anxiety, irritability, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed
Sleep disruption, night sweats, and fatigue
Brain fog, forgetfulness, and difficulty focusing
Heavy, irregular, or unpredictable periods
Weight changes, metabolism shifts, and changes in energy
Hair thinning, skin changes, and body confidence
Hot flashes and body temperature changes
Vaginal dryness, intimacy changes, and sexual health
Bone health, heart health, and blood pressure
The experience of trying to explain symptoms and not feeling heard
Yes, these topics may feel personal, but they are part of life and will help the next woman learn and grow.
Join the Conversation
EBLUXE Cares is considering creating an intimate group conversation for women to discuss perimenopause, menopause, and the changes we do not always talk about openly.
This would not be a professional medical workshop or clinical discussion. It would be a supportive peer space for women to share personal experiences, listen to one another, and connect in a respectful environment.
If you would like to join this group, text EBLUXE Cares at 866-432-5893 or reply directly to our text message.
Final Thought
Women’s health includes the daily changes, questions, emotions, and experiences that shape how we feel in our bodies. This Wellness Wednesday, we are opening the door to a conversation women deserve to have....perimenopause and menopause. You are not alone. Your questions matter. Your body matters. Your wellness matters.
With Love,
EBLUXE CARES
