Flu season is here, and many families are feeling it. While we can’t control every exposure, we can strengthen our bodies through simple daily wellness habits.

Why Flu Season Hits Harder In Winter


During colder months:

    •    People spend more time indoors

    •    Dry air weakens respiratory defenses

    •    Vitamin D levels often decreases

    •    Stress and poor sleep increase


All of these factors can weaken the immune system — making prevention habits even more important.


5 Simple Flu Prevention Habits


  1. Stay Hydrated


Hydration supports circulation, nutrient delivery, and helps keep nasal passages moist — your body’s first line of defense.


Try this: Drink one full glass of water before each meal.

Sleep is when your body repairs and strengthens immune response.


Goal: Aim for 7–9 hours when possible. Even small adjustments like earlier bedtimes help.
